There was much speculation suggesting that Apple would reject the iPhone Spotify app due to it’s placement as a direct competitor to Apple’s iTunes Store – giving users the ability to access hundreds of thousands of tunes without having to pay for them individually. Getting your music off your iPod back onto a hard disk has proved to be a real headache for some time. With the DRM built-into iTunes and iPods, you aren’t supposed to be able to get the music off your iPod once it’s been placed there. It seems a bit crazy, especially if your collection is legitimately bought on iTunes or your own CD collection. (more…)
